RESUMO
Este artigo é o resultado de um esforço, a quatro mãos, para sistematizar e trazer a público o resultado de um projeto de pesquisa cujo objetivo foi investigar as imagens/auto-imagens e representações sobre a profissão docente existentes junto a alunos e professores das escolas de formação (Escola Normal e Curso de Pedagogia). O resultado desta busca é aqui apresentado na forma de categorias gerais sobre as quais nos debruçamos procurando entendê-las e problematizá-las à luz de outras produções teóricas existentes sobre o tema.

ABSTRACT
This article is the result of an effort, made up in four-hands, to systematize and bring into public the result of a research project whose aim was to investigate images/self-images and representations about the teaching profession among students and teachers of formation schools (Teaching School and Pedagogy Course). The result of this search is presented here in the format of general categories about those we bended ourselves trying to understand them and to problematize them under the light of other theoretical productions about the theme.

CONHECIMENTO E RESPONSABILIDADE NO PROCESSO EDUCATIVO

RESUMO

Partindo de uma visão antropológica evolucionista, o artigo traça o caminho histórico pela qual passou o desenvolvimento cultural da humanidade, impulsionado pela progressiva capacidade dos humanos de acumularem conhecimentos e saberes, práticos e teóricos. A educação é precisamente a forma de realizar esse acúmulo de conhecimentos e saberes, reproduzindo-os, questionando-os, complementando-os. A educação, como ato consciente de ensinar e aprender, apareceu, na história da espécie humana, no exato momento em que a convivência espontânea e o aprendizado por imitação e ensaio e erro não eram mais suficientes para preservar e aperfeiçoar as conquistas culturais dos grupos sociais. A escola e o ensino (educação formal) surgiram no momento em que, por força da complexidade dos conhecimentos e saberes (teóricos e práticos), a formação das novas gerações já não podia dispensar tempos e espaços específicos de ensinar e aprender. A escola nasceu com a civilização. Daí em diante só fez crescer e aumentar sua importância e sua presença na vida das pessoas. O sistema educacional escolar não poderá, portanto, jamais perder de vista que seu compromisso com a humanidade está em formar, das novas gerações, pessoas à altura de seu tempo (do nosso tempo). Isso passa, antes de tudo, pela valorização do espaço escolar, do professor, do conteúdo, da atitude crítica e criativa, como formas de valorizar a figura central de todo o processo que é o aluno.

ABSTRACT
From an evolutionist anthropologic vision, the article delineates the historical way by which the cultural development of mankind has gone through, stimulated by progressive capacity of humans in accumulating knowledge, both practical and theoretical. Education is precisely a way to accomplish this accumulation of knowledge, reproducing them, questioning them, and complementing them. The education, as a conscious act of teaching and learning, showed up, in the history of human being, in the exact moment in which spontaneous companionship and the learning for limitation and assay and error were not enough anymore to preserve and to improve social conquest of the social groups. The school and the teaching (formal education) aroused at the moment in which, by the force of the complexity of the knowledge (theoretical and practical), the formation of the new generations could not dispense specific time and space of teaching and to learning. The school was born with civilization. Thereafter its importance and its presence in people’s life grew and increased. The school education system cannot, then, lose the sight that its compromise with mankind is to form, from the new generations, people up to their time (our time). This goes, first of all, through the valorization of the school space, of the teacher, of the content, of the critical and creative attitude, as ways to appraise the central subject of the process that is the student.

RESUMO
A introdução da teoria construtivista nas escolas tem causado muitos atritos e equívocos. Atritos, porque o construtivismo exige uma reformulação das cabeças dos profissionais da Educação, e isso não é algo fácil. Equívocos, porque o comum é implantá-lo com a cabeça em outras bases. Para se praticar o construtivismo, fazem-se necessárias outras bases epistemológicas e antropológicas, principalmente. O construtivismo não convive bem com teorias reducionistas e simplificadoras. O construtivismo é complexo.

ABSTRACT
The introduction of the constructivist theory in schools has caused several problems and ambiguities. Problems, because constructivism demands a reformulation of heads of education professionals and this is not easy. Ambiguities, because the common is implement it with the heads in other basis. To practice the constructivism, it is necessary other epistemological and anthropological bases, principally. Constructivism does not get along well with reductionism and simplified theories. Constructivism is something complex.

From rural to urban: the process of adaptation of students who live in a rural settlement to a the urban school

RESUMO
Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, de cunho etnográfico, que tem por objetivo estudar o processo de adaptação dos alunos, que saem da 4a série da escola de um assentamento rural, e vão estudar em uma escola na zona urbana. Buscou-se, ainda, analisar como se dá a participação da comunidade rural nessa escola urbana. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de coleta de dados: observação participante, entrevistas semi-estruturadas e análise documental. Constatou-se que a Escola rural possui uma boa integração com sua comunidade, desenvolvendo um importante papel na organização comunitária. Todavia, nota-se um significativo índice de fracasso escolar das crianças. Quanto à transição para a 5a série, constitui-se em uma forte ruptura sem que haja qualquer preparação. Na Escola urbana, o índice de fracasso escolar, entre as crianças do assentamento, é ainda mais elevado, e a participação da comunidade rural se reduz drasticamente.

ABSTRACT
It refers to a quantitative ethnological study, which has the aim of studying the adaptation’s process involving the 4th year’s students of the primary education who move from the school based at the rural settlement to the urban school. Furthermore, it has been searched and even analyzed how the rural community’s participation was developed in this urban school. It was used as instruments for the collection of data’s: participatory observation, semi-structural interviews and documentary analyze. It was evidenced that the rural school has a good integration with its community and fulfill an important role in the community’s organization. However, it has been noticed that there was a significant level of scholar’s failure among the children. Concerning the transition to the 5th year, it was constituted in a sturdy rupture without any preparation. In the urban school, the level of scholar’s failure, among the children of the rural settlement, is even higher and the rural community’s participation is reduced drastically.

RESUMO
A gestação na adolescência está se tornando um fenômeno comum em nossa sociedade. Isso significa que um número significativo de mulheres adolescentes tem o seu desenvolvimento psicossocial afetado por essa transição precoce à maternidade. Neste estudo, é apresentada uma revisão de literatura acerca da gestação na adolescência. São discutidas possíveis causas para a ocorrência do fenômeno, e as mudanças que ocorrem no contexto familiar em função da gestação. Inicialmente, são apresentadas as conseqüências da gestação na adolescência sob um prisma biopsicossocial. Uma vez situado o contexto em que emerge a gestação na adolescência, são enfocados os estudos encontrados sobre comunicação entre pais e filhos acerca da sexualidade e reações familiares à gestação em adolescentes. Ao final, são discutidos os resultados de pesquisas sobre o tema, sendo apontadas sugestões para novos estudos.

ABSTRACT
Adolescent pregnancy is becoming an ordinary phenomenon in our society. This means that a significant amount of adolescent girls have their psicosocial development affected by this early transition to motherhood. In this study, a literature review on adolescent pregancy is presented. Possible causes of this phenomenon and the changes that occur in the family context as a result of the pregnancy are discussed. First, the consequences of adolescent pregnancy are presented on a biopsicosocial outlook. Once described the context in which adolescent pregnancy emerges, the focus is directed on selected studies on parent-adolescent communication about sexuality and family reactions to pregancy in adolescence. Finally, the results of these studies are discussed, and suggestions for future research are presented.

The fetishism of the merchandise and the money in Marx

RESUMO

A complexidade da sociedade pós-moderna requer estudos acurados. Analisar o perfil e o conteúdo das ações que se desencadeiam neste cenário significa, necessariamente, demandar atenção às relações que se dão entre os indivíduos e as “coisas”. Coisas, essas, que podem ser produtos, mercadorias ou dinheiro e que interferem diretamente no teor das relações entre os próprios indivíduos. Esse debate já é antigo, mas continua mais atual do que nunca. Muitos cientistas sociais e pensadores em geral se debruçaram longamente sobre ele. Contudo, quando se trata do poder representativo da mercadoria e do dinheiro, há uma passagem obrigatória: Karl Marx. Em sua imortal obra – “O Capital” – problematizou o assunto e ofereceu elementos úteis para importantes discussões em nossa época. O presente texto visa, ainda que de modo sucinto, rever a abordagem marxista acerca do “valor de uso” e do “valor de troca” dos produtos, bem como a existência de um “outro valor” atribuído às mercadorias e ao dinheiro, identificado como “fetichismo”. No mundo da economia de mercado, esse é um fator muito recorrente e que ganha cada vez mais evidência. Daí, o interesse em estudá-lo.

ABSTRACT
The complexity of the pos-modern society requires accurate studies. To analyze the profile and the content of the actions which break loose in this scenario means, necessarily, to demand attention to relations that happen between the individual and the “things”. Things that might be products, goods or money an that interfere directly on the tenor of the relations between the individuals. This debate is old, but it is more current than never. Many social scientists and thinkers in general have bended largely over it. However, when the representative power of the goods and the money is concerned, there is an obligatory way: Karl Marx. In his immortal work – The Capital” – he problemathised the subject and offered useful elements for important discussions in our times. This text aims, although in a succinct way, to revise the Marxist approach about “Value of use” and “Value of exchange” of products, as well as the existence of “Another value” attributed to goods and to money, identifying it as “fetishism”. In the world of market economy, this is a very recurrent factor which gains more and more evidence. Then the interest in studying it.

O presente estudo analisa a biografia do padre Benjamin Busato, necessariamente envolvendo a história do município de Erechim, na região do Alto Uruguai, do Rio Grande do Sul, no período de 1926 a 1950. Os aspectos biográficos de um personagem que teve grande influência na história político-social do município, são apenas um pretexto para explicar o contexto e as relações sociais no período em que permaneceu como pároco da igreja São José, de Erechim.

ABSTRACT
The present study, of political and cultural character, analyses the biography of the priest Benjamin Busato, necessarily involving the history of the municipality of Erechim, located in the High Uruguai region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, during the period from 1926 to 1950. The biographical aspects of a personage with great influence in the political and social history of the municipality are just a pretext for explainning the context and social relations throughout the period he was the parson of São José church in Erechim.

Através do tema morte, com crescente importância na historiografia contemporânea, procura-se definir de forma mais precisa perfis das comunidades humanas em estudo. Esse é um tema pouco tocado pelos estudos referentes à imigração no Rio Grande do Sul. Analisar a morte na imigração polonesa, mais especificamente no município de Áurea, permitirá desvelar, ainda que parcialmente, este lado ainda “sombrio” dessa vertente imigratória.

ABSTRACT
Trough the topic deatch, with increasing importance in the contemporany historiography, it tried to define in a more precise way profiles of the human communities in study. This is a theme rather commented by the studies referred to the immigration in Rio Grande do Sul. Analyzing the death in the Pilish immigration, specifically in the city of Áurea, will permit to uncover, even partially, this side still “obscure” of this immigratory slope.

Muitas vezes a vida dos primeiros imigrantes foi vista mais no seu aspecto mítico, idílico de que real. A partir do centenário da imigração italiana surgiram muitas obras analisando a vida, religião e costumes dos imigrantes italianos. Hoje, principalmente através de programas de Pós-Graduação, procura-se um estudo crítico e lançar novos olhares sobre a vida, religião e costumes desses construtores de uma nova terra.

ABSTRACT
The migratory moving occurred on the 20th century, not always were studied and analyzed in the real sense. Many times, the life of the first immigrants was seen more in its idyllic, mythic aspects rather than in its real ones. From the centenarian of the Italian immigration many works came up analyzing life, religion and habits of the Italian immigrants. Nowadays, principally through Post-Graduation Programs, a critical study is aimed and also to cast new looks at the life, religion and habits of the constructors of the new land.
