RESUMO: A Psicanálise vem sendo confrontada por discursos que atestam sua falta de objetividade e possível inferioridade frente às neurociências contemporâneas que estariam respondendo, de forma mais direta, às demandas da sociedade relativas ao sofrimento psíquico, utilizando métodos “verdadeiramente científicos”. Neste artigo buscou-se analisar a procura pela cientificidade empreendida por Freud, que resultou na composição de um campo de saber que ultrapassa certos limites da racionalidade moderna, sendo sua ciência erigida sobre pressupostos epistemológicos diferentes dos adotados pelas demais Ciências da mente, o que inviabiliza comparações e conflitos, assim como composições teóricas transdisciplinares. Sustenta-se a possibilidade de uma abordagem multiprofissional, desde que as especificidades de cada área sejam respeitadas, sem a eleição de um saber maior ao qual os demais devam curvar-se.

ABSTRACT: The Psychoanalysis has been confronted by speeches that attest its lack of objectivity and possible inferiority before the contemporary neurosciences, which would be responding, in a more direct way, to the society's demands regarding psychic suffering and using “truly scientific” methods. In this article it was intended to analyze the search for the scientificity undertaken by Freud, that resulted in the composition of a field of knowledge that goes beyond some limits of the modern rationality, being his science erected on epistemological suppositions different from the ones adopted by the other sciences of the mind, what makes comparisons and conflicts unfeasible, as well as transdisciplinary theoretical compositions. The possibility of a multiprofessional approach is sustained, since the particularities of each area are respected, without the election of a greater knowledge, which the others must bent over.

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é a discussão acerca do método psicanalítico em pesquisa e seu uso na produção acadêmica. A Psicologia tem seu nasci¬mento influenciado pelos modelos científicos da época, tendo a marca da Ciência Experimental. Necessitava ser aceita como Ciência e, para isso, precisava usar os métodos de pesquisa que eram reconhecidos. De forma semelhante, a Psicanálise também desejava um reconhecimento do meio científico da época; porém, seu objeto de estudo, o inconsciente, demandava um método diferente do modelo positivista reconhecido. Partindo dessa contex¬tualização, os autores discutem as especificidades do método psicanalítico e suas possibilidades de aplicação. Destacam as características do objeto de estudo e a atitude do pesquisador, frente ao mesmo, na pesquisa psicanalítica. A Psicanálise, teoria bastante aceita no curso de Psicologia, tem seu método questionado, embora sua congruência com seu objeto de estudo. Esta a discussão seria proveitosa para pesquisadores e estudantes.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this article is to discuss the psychoanalytic research method and how it is used at the university. Psychology's birth brought the mark of an experimental science, influenced by scientific models of its time. Despite that, psychology had to be accepted as a science, so it needed to use the research methods that were already accepted. Likewise, psychoanalysis wished to be admitted by the scientific field, but because of its object of study, the unconscious, it needed a different method than the positivist model that was more acceptable. From this context, the authors discuss the particularities of the psychoanalytic method and its possibilities of application. It is emphasized the characteristics of the object of study and the attitude of the researcher when in front of this object. Psychoanalysis is a well accepted theory at the psychology course, but the researchers resist to this method. This would be the most indicated to a psychoanalytic research. The discussion of these questions would be profitable to researchers and students.

RESUMO: Este artigo problematiza o sofrimento envolvido em duas configurações psicopatológicas: a melancolia e a histeria. A partir de conceitos comumente vinculados a essas patologias, enfatiza-se o comprometimento da Psicopatologia com a Metapsicologia psicanalítica. Com essa perspectiva, aborda-se uma visão crítica frente à proposição atual de “novas patologias” que estariam substituindo aquelas com as quais Freud se deparava no Século XIX.

ABSTRACT: This article approaches the kind of suffering involved in two psychopathologic situations: melancholy and hysteria. Based on the concepts commonly linked to these pathologies, it emphasizes the commitment of psychopathology and psychoanalytical metapsychology. A criticism is made of the current proposition of “new pathologies”, which would replace those faced by Freud in the XIXth century.

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é demonstrar o resultado de uma pesquisa realizada junto aos moradores do Jardim Paulista, na cidade de Londrina-PR, acerca da construção de uma “cultura da violência”, e como esta influencia o sistema de relações cotidianas entre os agentes que compõem o espaço social do bairro. Limitaremos o tema à receptividade e à manutenção do sentido da “violência” nas práticas cotidianas dos agentes.

ABSTRACT: The objective this article is to demonstrate the result of one investigation performed with the residents of the Jardim Paulista neighborhood in the city of Londrina-PR, regarding the structure of the culture of violence, and how it influences the system of the quotidian relationships among the agents that compose the social space in the district. We will limit the theme of this article to the receptivity and the maintenance of the feeling « violence » in quotidians practice of the agents.

A ANÁLISE E COMPREENSÃO DO CONCEITO DE PAISAGEM EM LIVROS DIDÁTICOS DE GEOGRAFIA DO ENSINO MÉDIO_
Analysis and Understanding of the Concept of Landscape in Secondary Education Geography Textbook
 

RESUMO: Este trabalho apresenta algumas reflexões sobre a implementação do programa de Ações Afirmativas na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - UFSM, tendo como principal objetivo compreender o contexto de implantação desse programa. Diante disso, o estudo que se caracteriza como uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, parte do entendimento das Ações Afirmativas propostas na Terceira Versão da Reforma Universitária para, com isso, traçar um histórico da implementação dessas ações. Nesse sentido, a compreensão do direito à Educação e do princípio de igualdade se faz necessária, uma vez que estes constituem as bases para a discussão sobre a eqüidade no acesso ao Ensino Superior. Visando a enriquecer ainda mais o debate, foram selecionados trinta e um textos de dois jornais locais de Santa Maria-RS, durante os meses de junho e julho de 2007, período que antecedeu e em que se efetivou a votação sobre a Resolução referente às Ações Afirmativas na UFSM. Ao examinar estes artigos, juntamente com a revisão de literatura constatou-se que a questão das Ações Afirmativas extrapola as análises quantitativas, exige sobretudo reflexões sociológicas que dêem conta de todo um contexto sócio, político, econômico e cultural que, direta ou indiretamente, tem influência na construção das identidades.

ABSTRACT: This study provides reflections about the practice of the affirmative actions program at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). The main objective of the research is to understand the context of the implementation of this program. Due to that, this work is characterized as a bibliographical research and it is based on the third version of the university reform. In order to make a historic of the implementation of these actions, it is necessary to understand the education right and the basic doctrine of equity, once they build the base for discussing about the equity on the access to a public university. Aiming to make the discussion better, thirty-one texts were selected from two local newspapers of Santa Maria -RS between June and July 2008. This period came just before these actions were effected. Analyzing these articles and making the review of literature, we found out that this question flows out the quantitative analysis; it requires sociological reflections to be able to look to the social, political, economical, cultural and juridical features that builds identities.

RESUMO: Parte-se de concepções de trabalho e profissionalidade e propõe-se que, se forem estudados os discursos, as práticas, os anseios dos professores, poder-se-á entender o cotidiano educacional, entendendo, também, nesse universo, os professores e o fazer pedagógico. Foram realizadas entrevistas com vinte e duas professoras do Ensino Fundamental. Seus discursos foram transcritos e analisados, tendo como aporte teórico-metodológico a Análise do Discurso, com influência dos estudos de Pêcheux. Com base nos discursos, buscou-se entendimento sobre a profissionalidade da professora e seu trabalho. Nesse processo, destaca-se a necessidade de, na perspectiva da interlocução, com a participação dos entrevistados em todas as etapas da pesquisa, estudar os discursos das professoras, enquanto fenômeno. Para defender esse argumento básico, caracterizo a Escola como um espaço-tempo de participação e interações, os professores como trabalhadores da Educação, a gestão pedagógica como uma prática coletiva, cujo objetivo, em primeiro lugar, é organizar os esforços para a produção do conhecimento de estudantes e professores, no evento denominado aula.

ABSTRACT: It starts from work conceptions and professional skills proposing that, if the speeches, the practices, the yearnings of the teachers will be studied, the educational daily will be able to be understood, also understanding, in this universe, the professors and the pedagogical making. Interviews with twenty and two teachers of Basic Teaching had been carried through. Their speeches had been transcribed and analyzed, having the Analysis of the Speech, with influence of Pêcheux's studies as a theoretical background. On the basis of the speeches, an understanding about the professional skills of the teacher and his work was searched. In this process, it is distinguished the need of, under the perspective of the interlocution and with the participation of interviewers in all stages of the research, studying the speeches of the teachers, while a phenomenon. To defend this basic argument, I characterize the school as a space-time of participation and interactions, the teachers as education workers, the pedagogical management as a collective practice , whose objective is first of all to organize the efforts for the production of knowledge of students and professors, in the event called lesson.

A AVALIAÇÃO ESCOLAR EM QUESTÃO: ENUNCIADOS PRODUZIDOS POR PROFESSORES
School Evaluation: The teachers' point of view

RESUMO: Este trabalho é um recorte da Dissertação de Mestrado cujo título é Avaliação da Aprendizagem Escolar: constituindo diferentes posições de sujeitos no currículo escolar. A pesquisa propõe problematizar discursos que circulam nas falas de professores atuantes em escolas, que estão fazendo curso de Graduação em Licenciatura, determinando distintas posições para os sujeitos da aprendizagem a partir das práticas de avaliação da aprendizagem escolar dos alunos. A investigação está orientada a partir dos campos dos Estudos Culturais e dos Estudos Pós-Estruturalistas em Educação. Utilizando a técnica do grupo de discussão, os dados da pesquisa foram produzidos a partir das falas dos oito professores que integravam o grupo. Como ferramentas analíticas, foram utilizados os conceitos de discurso e de avaliação. A partir dos enunciados recorrentes nos materiais, concluiu-se que o resultado da avaliação da aprendizagem determina posições de aprendente e não-aprendente do aluno (in)suficiente no currículo escolar. Foi possível observar, também, que a escolha da avaliação, por parecer ou conceito, funciona como uma estratégia dos professores para negociarem posições dos alunos em relação às exigências quanto ao rendimento escolar.

ABSTRACT: This paper is part of a dissertation entitled Evaluation of school learning: constituting different positions of the subject in the school curriculum and proposes to problematize discourses that are present in the speeches of teachers who are either working or taking a teaching graduation course, who are determining distinct positions for the subjects of the process of learning, with their school learning evaluation of the students. Cultural Studies and Post-Structuralist Studies in Education oriented the investigation. With the technique of group discussion, data were collected in the speech of the teachers who integrated a group of eight people. Concepts of discourse and evaluation were our methodological tools. Using the recurrence of statements seen in the material, we could conclude that: the result of learning evaluation determines positions of learning and non-learning for the (in)sufficient student in school curriculum. It was also possible to see that the choice of evaluation using concepts works as teachers' strategy to deal with positions of students in relation to the demands about the school performance.

RESUMO: A temática “a influência dos fatores ambientais no desenvolvimento infantil” surge da pesquisa PIIC/URI, denominada “fatores ambientais e sua influência na educação infantil”. Objetiva refletir criticamente sobre a influência dos fatores ambientais (ambiente familiar, físico, social, cultural e escolar) no desenvolvimento infantil. Há vários fatores que agem para facilitar ou contrariar o desenvolvimento humano, como o ambiente e os fatores dele decorrentes. Porém, o papel dos educadores torna-se essencial. Eles devem conhecer os diferentes ambientes em que suas crianças interagem para, assim, compreender seu comportamento, suas ações, sua maneira de aprender e seu processo de desenvolvimento, bem como a influência que os mesmos exercem sobre ele. A Escola, partindo do conhecimento de onde vivem (ambien¬te familiar e físico) e onde se situam (ambiente social e cultural) as crianças, define o seu ambiente educativo, de forma a contemplar todos os aspectos necessários à boa formação de seus alunos.

ABSTRACT: The thematic “the influence of the environmental factors in the infantile development” comes from a PIIC/URI research, called “environmental factors and their influence on the infantile education. It aims to critically reflect upon the influence of the ambiental factors (familiar, physical, social, cultural and school environments) in the infantile development. There ares some factors that act to facilitate or to oppose the development, such as the environment and recurrent factors of it. However, the educators' role becomes essential. They must know the different environments where children interact thus to understand their behaviors, actions, their way to learn and their process of development, as well as the influence that they have on them. The school, having the knowledge of where kids live (familiar and physical environments) and where are (social and cultural environments), defines its educative environment, in a way to contemplate all the necessary aspects for the good pupils' education.
